Guests say

Yr Hen Efail is a well-received cottage in Cemaes Bay, praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and prime location close to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings and modern decor, with special mentions of the property's generous room sizes and multiple living areas. The thoughtful touches by the owners, such as Welsh cakes and other welcome gifts, have been well received, although such gestures are not guaranteed for every stay.

The property is consistently described as clean and spotless, with only one mention of overlooked areas. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experiences of the guests.

The location is highly regarded for its proximity to the beach, shops, and local attractions. Some guests noted traffic noise, but this did not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback about the location.

Guests find the property very comfortable, with comfortable beds and plenty of space for relaxation. The multiple living areas and generous room sizes are frequently mentioned as highlights.

While the facilities are generally well-received, there are some comments about minor maintenance issues such as non-working spotlights and wobbly window handles. The prompt response from the owner to issues is noted positively.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome gifts and prompt assistance with issues. However, as these personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay, guests should be aware that such gestures, while appreciated, are not a certainty.

A few items looking tired (toilet seats and brushes) and a few bulbs blown. Emma brought extra towels when requested. Could do with better lighting in the lounge needed for older folks with not so good eyesight. Otherwise a very pleasant enjoyable stay.

  • Jo

Quiet and tidy with a short walk to beaches and headlands. Plenty of space in the house with two lounge rooms and a large kitchen. We had a lovely time.

  • Paul

Only a 5 minute walk from beautiful Cemaes Bay.
