Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and excellent location with beautiful views and easy access to Anglesey. The property is well-equipped, offering a comfortable stay with thoughtful touches, although some minor maintenance issues were noted. The local pub and amenities are appreciated, enhancing the overall experience.

The cottage is generally described as exceptionally clean. However, one review mentioned areas that could be improved, such as behind doors and the fridge, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is highly praised for its central position, wonderful views, and proximity to local attractions and amenities, making it an ideal base for exploring Anglesey.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and bedding. One review noted the pillows were too high and firm, but this seems to be a personal preference rather than a general discomfort.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the property described as well-equipped. However, the absence of a patio set for larger groups and a can opener were noted, indicating room for improvement.

While the reviews reflect a well-equipped and comfortable stay, there is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches beyond the expected amenities. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Was thankful of the nightlight torches as had a powercut whilst trying to pack to leave. Not sure who to contact as Sykes were closed so asked a neighbour who had already reported it. Can owners add into holiday file that thinner quilts are in bottom drawers as only found them at end of stay and it was very warm at night. I loved the landing area and used this as a dressing table as none in the room. Very central location to visit places on the island and mainland. Hope to stay here again as was lovely and homely.

Supermarkets within a couple of miles, though there is a local weekly market and farm shop close enough, for supporting the local businesses too. Well located in the middle of the island. This was spacious enough for our group of 5 which included 2 preschoolers and a fussy pensioner who was very pleased with it too! My only complaint and a personal preference is that the pillows were far too high and too firm for us, especially for the children, so none of us used them- beds were comfortable though and we all slept well every night. Will book again in the future.

this is lovely house, set in the countryside, yet close to the main road. Good points are plentiful supply of cutlery and crockery. Comfortable beds with lovely bedding. The beds are a bit on the small side but quite adequate Sadly the cleaning and maintenance of some items could be improved. Some dusty areas (behind doors). The fridge needed cleaning and we were unable to open the freezer. Also main bedroom window frame. Having said this , the house is perfectly positioned to access the whole island easily, and we did enjoy our stay. If these issues are addressed I’d have no hesitation in recommending the cottage
