Guests say

Tyn Towyn - Bwthyn Haf is a well-liked cottage praised for its excellent location near the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the welcome pack and find the site well-maintained. However, some guests mention issues with comfort, particularly the sofa, and suggest minor improvements for an even better stay.

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with several guests finding the cottage clean, while others report issues with dog hairs, dirty kitchenware, and a filthy front door. The property seems to require attention to detail in cleaning to meet the expectations of all guests.

The location is highly praised, with guests loving the proximity to Trearddur Bay and the centre. The convenience of local eateries and the beach being within walking distance is a highlight for many visitors.

Comfort receives mixed reviews, with several guests finding the sofa uncomfortable and the bed unsatisfactory for a good night's sleep. However, some guests did not raise any comfort issues, suggesting that experiences may vary.

Facilities are generally good, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a leaking shower, a non-working dishwasher, and difficulties with the oven and microwave. These issues suggest room for improvement in the maintenance of the property.

The welcome pack containing treats like prosecco and Welsh cakes is frequently mentioned and appreciated by guests, indicating thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The cottage is well equipped and the only issue was a uncomfortable bed.

  • Amanda

Great location, beach and lots of restaurants/bars within 5-10 minutes walking distance which was fab. Spotless clean complex, very quiet and lovely coastal walks on your doorstep.

The only reason I am loathe to praise it so highly is that I fear we'll never be able to get a holiday booked there again, it will be in such demand. An idyll with just everything you need for the perfect break. Thank you for giving us a lovely and restful weekend!
