Pencraig is a well-liked cottage in Trearddur Bay, praised for its superb location, spaciousness, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests enjoy the hot tub and the property's proximity to the beach and local amenities. While some maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests looking to return.
Cleanliness has received mixed feedback. Some guests reported the property was not cleaned to a high standard, with issues like food on plates and full bins upon arrival. However, others found it to be clean and tidy, which suggests inconsistency in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for being quiet yet within walking distance to Trearddur Bay and local amenities. Its proximity to the beach and main roads is seen as a significant advantage by many guests.
Comfort is generally well-regarded, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the property spacious. However, some guests noted wear and tear on furniture and issues with blinds and doors, indicating a need for updates to maintain comfort levels.
Facilities are appreciated, especially the well-stocked kitchen and the hot tub. Nonetheless, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as broken handles, poorly lit outdoor areas, and non-functional computers, which detract from the overall experience.
Guests have mentioned thoughtful touches like a bottle of bubbles and chocolates on arrival, which contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. However, it's important to note that such gestures are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.
