We couldn’t believe how spacious and well thought out the space was. All rooms were well decorated, clean and airy. The location was handy with the restaurant and shop on site. The garden was lovely, despite concerns after reading other reviews on how secure it was for our dog, was perfect! The only thing we found that was missing would be a bbq in the garden and we had some issues with the hot tub connecting to the speaker, but once we asked for help this was resolved promptly. So grateful for a lovely stay and will definitely book again.

The points to note would be :- Instructions for the oven, TV and Hot tub would be great. Mats at the patio door entrances - just to help wet feet/paws from wetting the floor as much Some sort of coffee machine or cafetière would be a great addition. Extra pillows for the beds would be great too - by this I mean different firmness - the beds/pillows and bedding were all lovely, however the pillows are all very very soft and therefore, were not great for us personally. Slightly marked down for cleanliness due to the kitchen cupboard doors being quite dirty and the insides of the wardrobes/drawers were also quite dusty. Overall we loved the property and its position - was a shock at first to find out it was behind the service station, but once you were in it didn’t matter at all. We will certainly be back and are already looking at dates for next year

Would agree with previous comments about the garden needing to be more secure for pets. However, ours was always walked on a lead so not an issue for us on this occasion. Staff at the Forge were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the week and were very keen to hear about any thoughts on anything that could improve our stay.
