Ty Rhys is a well-regarded cottage praised for its comfortable beds, modern decor, and thoughtful touches like treats for both guests and dogs. Its location is ideal for coastal walks and beach visits, with a variety of dining options nearby. Some guests noted issues with the wet room design and lounge lighting, but the property's cleanliness and the welcoming nature of the neighbours were often highlighted.
The cottage generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several guests describing it as clean and tidy. However, there were isolated comments about the need for cleaning kitchenware and the oven, which slightly impacts the score.
The location is frequently praised for its proximity to beaches and the peacefulness of the area. Some guests were less pleased with the surrounding derelict buildings, but the location's convenience for dog walking and coastal exploration is well-liked.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, but there are several remarks about the lack of comfortable seating for all guests and the awkward bathroom layout. These factors have led to a moderate score in comfort.
The cottage is equipped with essential facilities and some guests appreciated the well-fitted kitchen. However, comments about the lack of storage space for food, poor lounge lighting, and the need for maintenance in certain areas suggest room for improvement.
Many guests mentioned and appreciated the thoughtful gestures such as leaving milk, Welsh cakes, and dog treats. While these gifts are warmly received, it should be noted that such amenities are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Everything catered for at the cottage. The Welsh cakes, milk and dog food were much appreciated. Half hour walk to Aberporth beach was a bit tricky down the main road with no pavements for some of the way but found small shortcut along public country footpath from hotel grounds. Will definitely book this cottage again.
