The nearby market town of Newcastle Emlyn (4 miles) beckons with its historic charm and riverside strolls around the ancient Norman castle ruins, as well as its array of boutique shops. There are plenty more fun days to be had at the Welsh Wildlife Centre (8 miles), Cardigan (9 miles), and Poppit Sands Beach (12 miles).
