A wealth of independent stores, restaurants and cafes can be discovered within a 5-minute walk of the property as well as the 5-mile seafront promenade that stretches around the bay to Swansea Marina. The popular beaches of Langland and Rotherslade Bay are a short walk from the house where you can also take the Wales Coastal Path along the cliffs to Caswell Bay. Slightly further afield are the beaches of Oxwich Bay, Rhossili and Three Cliffs Bay, all of which are pet-friendly throughout the year.

This was our second stay this year in the house; we absolutely love it! Can't think of any drawbacks whatsoever! It is spacious, extremely well equipped and so handy for all local amenities. Wonderful, friendly owner too - always on hand for any queries so communication is excellent. We can't wait to come back!

Oakland House is a home from home. It's in a fabulous location; convenient for local shops, restaurants and the beautiful Gower peninsula with everything it has to offer. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and we felt relaxed and at home as soon as we walked through the door. The owners are incredibly friendly,and helpful. We're already checking our diaries for a return visit.

An absolutely gorgeous cottage. The owner has thought of everything. Split over 4 floors, each room has a home from home feel. Set in an ideal central location, only minutes from the front /shops / bars & beach. Plenty of space for a large family, including a man cave and 4 tvs. Beds super comfortable and kitchen has every utensil, crockery and equipment you could ever need. I would certainly recommend this property. We stayed for 7 nights and wished we had booked for longer. Beautiful walks only a stone’s throw away.
