In the picturesque area of Welshmoor, this lovely barn conversion, sleeping 6, has spectacular views across North Gower and the Loughor Estuary.

I would not stay here again. It was extremely noisy, the handles on doors weren’t working properly so you couldn’t close them, this meant they banged through the night with the wind. The attic above the bedroom is very noisy. The water tank (I am guessing) sloshes around all night and makes it difficult to sleep. The beds, although we received mattress toppers eventually, were totally unacceptable. It speaks volumes that the property was rented out in such a condition, it is all quite tired and needs a bit of TLC. The oven door was broken on arrival and we used it as our young children needed their dinner and the glass smashed to pieces. Very dangerous. All in all, a great location, the living area is very spacious, as are all the rooms, but it didn’t feel very comfortable being there for the week and I wouldn’t return or recommend. I would also not use original cottages again as their communication is extremely poor and they absolved themselves of any responsibility saying it was the owners responsibility, but seeing as the number on the PDF was incorrect and the adjacent property was no help, the company should have assisted further.

A large, warm and comfortable property with wonderful views of the Gower peninsula. Access to the property is down a unsurfaced track, which is difficult to traverse.

Brilliant holiday let, couldn’t have been more pleased. It’s so spacious, warm and well equipped. A very relaxing stay. The location is amazing, very rural with big views big skies and big weather, yet within easy reach of Swansea and all the beauty of The Gower. Would definitely return.
