Guests say

5 Ceirnioge Cottages is praised for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and powerful shower. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting, generous parking, and the thoughtful welcome touches. While some mention road noise and minor maintenance issues, the property's charm and the owner's helpfulness often lead to repeat bookings.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be very clean, with fresh bedding and towels. However, a few noted areas where cleaning could be improved, such as the shower and presence of flies.

The cottage's location is appreciated for its picturesque setting and proximity to local attractions. Some guests found the road noise to be bothersome and the distance from the nearest pub/shop a slight inconvenience.

Guests generally find the beds comfortable, with the exception of the double bed which some found uncomfortable. The cottage is described as cosy and warm, although there were comments about inadequate heating.

Facilities such as the powerful shower and washing machine are well-received. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues like non-working toasters, loose frying pan handles, and poor Wi-Fi connectivity.

Many guests mention and appreciate the welcome pack, which includes items like cake and milk. While these gestures are warmly received, it is important to note that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary.

However just a few problems. No teapot or can opener. Hot water was too hot, could scold. TV unwatchable due to error messages and freezing (Internet seemed fine). No books, games or dvd's as listed. Info pack out of date.

Some tourist information for surrounding area would have been good as well, but really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

A comfy lounge and beds, great shower but a couple of things could do with a bit of attention otherwise I would have given five stars. The front door letterbox was missing (doesn't give a great first impression) . Had a lovely week weather wise but the garden was totally overgrown so could not sit out. Had two really bad downpours in the evening and the pathway around the cottage floods quite badly - could do with the drainage sorting out. A great base for exploring the area, nice walk down the lane to the Gilers Arms had a lovely Sunday lunch. Not far to Betws-y-Coed which is beautiful and Port Merrion is well worth a visit.
