Neptune Cottage in Conwy is highly praised for its immaculate cleanliness, stylish decor, and prime central location. Guests enjoy the comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, and the luxury of a hot tub. While parking can be tricky due to narrow roads, the property's proximity to local amenities and attractions compensates. The cottage's thoughtful touches and modern facilities contribute to a delightful stay, although the provision of welcome gifts is not consistent.
Reviewers consistently mention the cottage's immaculate condition, indicating a very high standard of cleanliness.
The central location is frequently highlighted as brilliant and perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions.
The majority of guests find the cottage comfortable and the beds and sofas cosy, although one comment suggests the sofas are not as comfortable for watching television.
Facilities like the well-stocked kitchen and hot tub are appreciated, but there is a suggestion for a hot tub cover and a minor note on unannounced maintenance.
While the property is well-received, there is no consistent mention of welcome gifts or additional thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia is just six miles away.

Laura
Lovely large cottage which suited the 5 of us perfectly. House was immaculate. Excellent location right in the middle of the town. Shops, pubs, restaurants all 2 mins walk away. The hottub maintenance man arrived unannounced half way through the week, which we didnât know about, would have been good to have been informed he was coming. Possibly a small lamp in the living area would have helped to create a warmer feel to the livingroom at night time, as we just had to keep the big light/spotlights on all the time. Thank you for having us, we would definitely return and will be recommending you to friends and family! A gorgeous cottage, in the best little town in north wales!

Looks tiny from the outside but is spacious and well appointed within across three floors. Although near the town centre and some pubs, it was quiet and we were never disturbed. Conwy itself is fantastic and I'd recommend it as a hub for a holiday in North Wales.

Perfectly placed in the town for shops, bars, restaurants and takeaways. So much to see in Conwy and its surrounding areas. Cottage had everything we needed, was very comfortable and homely. Hot tub was bliss for a cheeky wine (or two) after our walking and sightseeing days. Highly recommended and we all said we wouldnât hesitate to stay there again. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸
