Denbigh 4 miles. The perfect balance of old and new, this wonderfully converted barn is situated on a working small holding in the village of Groes in Denbighshire. This stone-built property was originally used as a cow shed, it is now a light and airy space offering modern accommodation ideal for couples or a family looking to explore the North Wales countryside from a luxurious setting. Enter the property into the open-plan living space. This contemporary room has a definite wow factor thanks to its high ceilings, exposed 'A' frame beams and high-quality fixtures and fittings. The full appointed kitchen has the added bonus of a breakfast bar, allowing cooking dinner to be a much more social event. Despite the spacious feel of the room, the sitting area still has a cosy feel with comfortable sofas and a contemporary wood burning stove to one side. Down the corridor is the master bedroom, a neutral yet elegant affair, with a double bed and en suite shower room featuring a luxurious walk-in shower with rainfall shower head. On this floor there is also a modern family bathroom and a utility room with space to leave muddy boots and coats. Warm comfy and very well equipped. We enjoyed watching the sheep and the swallows, while sipping wine in the garden.

Normally we have to do cleaning of cutlery/crockery, but not this time. The whole place was spotless. Just be aware it's situated in the countryside, so watch out for oncoming traffic on those roads. The hosts were lovely. I would highly recommend this place. Regards, Andrew

The barn is set in a quiet peaceful area , perfect place for relaxing and de-stressing. Lots of places to see close by and denbigh has everything you need when self catering .
