Guests say

Pant Dafydd Goch is a charming and spacious cottage in Llangollen, highly praised for its stunning views, peaceful and remote location, and ample space for large groups and family gatherings. Guests have celebrated memorable occasions here, enjoying the property's character, cosy fireplaces, and welcoming atmosphere. The surrounding countryside offers delightful tranquillity and opportunities for outdoor activities.

While many guests found the property clean and well-presented, with sparkling kitchenware and pristine bathrooms, there were some concerns about general cleanliness and maintenance issues. Some guests noted the need for a deeper clean, particularly in the kitchen area, and the presence of pests.

The cottage's location is consistently lauded for its outstanding rural views and serene setting. It offers a sense of seclusion and is ideal for those seeking tranquillity and a connection with nature. However, the access road is noted to be challenging for some vehicles.

Guests have complimented the comfortable furnishings, cosy lounges with fireplaces, and the ample space that allows for both privacy and communal gatherings. The presence of multiple bathrooms and bedrooms decorated with character adds to the overall comfort. However, some guests mentioned issues with heating and water supply that impacted their comfort.

The property is appreciated for its well-equipped kitchens, entertainment options like a pool table and darts board, and outdoor spaces. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as non-functioning showers and dishwashers, and some guests suggested improvements to the outdoor furniture and fixtures.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident in the provision of welcome packs and their responsiveness to guests' needs. Some guests received gifts and festive decorations for special occasions, contributing to a personalised and memorable experience. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

The place was exactly as described—peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by stunning views. Communication was excellent; the host provided timely responses to all my questions, which made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. The cottage was well-equipped, especially in the kitchen. It had all the cooking equipment I needed, which made it easy to prepare meals during my stay. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a comfortable base for exploring the area, this cottage is perfect. I would definitely stay here again!
