The Hideaway Pod in Criccieth is highly praised for its cleanliness, privacy, and thoughtful touches by the hosts. Guests enjoy the well-equipped pod, cosy atmosphere, and the hot tub, despite minor issues with midges and ventilation. Its location is ideal for exploring local attractions, with many guests planning to return or recommend it to others.
Guests consistently mention the pod being spotlessly clean, which indicates a high level of cleanliness. One minor issue was the hot tub not being ready on the first day due to cleaning, but this reflects attentiveness to cleanliness rather than neglect.
The location is frequently described as perfect, close to tourist attractions, beaches, and Snowdon. The need for a car is mentioned, but this does not detract significantly from the location's appeal.
The pod is often referred to as cosy, comfortable, and accommodating. However, some guests noted the steep stairs and lack of storage space for clothes, which slightly affects the comfort score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a fully equipped kitchen and extras like hot tub towels. Some guests suggested improvements such as better lighting and ventilation, and a path to avoid mud, indicating room for enhancement in maintenance.
Many reviews highlight the hosts' thoughtfulness, including welcome packs and festive decorations. While these gestures are appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

It was clean, cosy, well equipped and although the area is very rural and quiet, lots of the attractions of North Wales are within a 30 minute drive. The hosts are welcoming and on hand if needed. It is a beautiful place, highly recommended.

The accommodation was clean and comfy and in a good location. A good base for visiting attractions pretty close by. Would recommend

There were some nice unexpected surprises of a pint of milk, tea, coffee and a nice barm cake to enjoy on our arrival. The hot-tub was loved by all in the evening. The owner was brilliant and always on hand should anything be required.
