Bottom Lodge in Chepstow offers a peaceful stay with modern amenities, underfloor heating, and comfortable beds. The location boasts beautiful views and proximity to walking trails and local pubs. Guests appreciate the friendly hosts, welcome packs, and the presence of farm animals. While most reviews are positive, a few mention minor issues with maintenance and cleaning tools.
The majority of guests found the lodge clean and well-kept, with only a couple of mentions of webs and a lack of cleaning tools. The positive remarks far outweigh the negatives, indicating high standards of cleanliness.
The lodge is consistently praised for its stunning views, peaceful environment, and good access to local attractions and amenities. Its idyllic and quiet setting in a beautiful part of South Wales & Pembrokeshire is highly valued by guests.
Guests frequently mention the comfortable beds and the cosy, home-like feel of the lodge. The underfloor heating and high-quality bedding contribute to the overall comfort of the stay.
The lodge is equipped with modern conveniences like a dishwasher and washing machine, and guests enjoy the hot tub. However, there are some concerns about maintenance and the provision of kitchen equipment, which slightly lower the score.
Many guests were touched by the thoughtful welcome packs and the hosts' willingness to go the extra mile, such as decorating for a birthday. It should be noted that while these gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Lodge was as described and is a perfect hideaway for a family set in absolutely stunning surroundings. Owners were lovely hosts, greeting us when we 1st arrived with our welcome hamper of fresh eggs off the farm, milk and welsh cakes. Would recommend to others and the best way I would describe it would be at Glen View Farm you feel like you are in the middle of no-where and completely away from it all but you are no more than 15 minutes away from any amenities you need including some cracking pubs in the vicinity.

Middle of nowhere and perfect location.

Lovely idyllic location and very quiet. A very well equipped kitchen and plenty of space in the lodge. Hot tub is immaculate. We couldn't of asked for more. We loved our time here.
