Guests say

Rock House in Narberth offers a picturesque setting with stunning sea views and a convenient location close to local amenities. Guests have praised the property's comfort and the area's beauty, making it a desirable choice for a relaxing seaside holiday. While some maintenance issues have been noted, the overall experience remains positive with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The property generally maintains good cleanliness, particularly in the kitchen and bathrooms. However, some guests have reported issues such as dust and a need for a deeper clean in certain areas, which slightly lowers the overall cleanliness score.

The location is highly praised for its amazing sea views and proximity to local amenities, including pubs, cafes, and the beach. The convenience and natural beauty of the location contribute to a high score in this category.

Guests find Rock House to be a comfortable and homely property, with a relaxing atmosphere. Some minor issues with furniture and a damp smell in one of the en suites have been mentioned, but overall, the comfort level is well-regarded.

While the property is equipped with necessary facilities and guests are satisfied with what is provided, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as broken appliances and furniture. These concerns affect the score for facilities and maintenance.

There is insufficient information regarding the provision of thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts. While some guests have suggested that such gestures would be appreciated, there is no consistent mention of their presence or absence, leading to an inability to score this category.

Lovely welcome card & bottle of wine, thank you. The house is comfortable though really is in need of a deep clean, and the en suite has a really damp, cold feel to it. The en suite toilet is also in need of some maintenance, you have to manipulate the ball cock to flush it. Otherwise lovely house, great location.

Contacted Sykes several times who assured me all the issues would be resolved. A lot of the issues were resolved but still a lot of things i found unacceptable all.of which i have taken photos. Upon arrival the downstairs shower contained several pubic hairs. The back yard was the smallest yard iv ever seen but couldnt let our dog out due to the worst stench of stale urine and it was so grubby looking. The front bedroom bed looked like someone had been lying in it it was so creased. We tried to sleep in the back bedroom as the front bedroom was too bright with a security light next door left on but couldnt use that room due to the stench of damp and mould which was all along the patio doors in that room. There was hairs and dust of previous guests along the skirting boards and thick clumps of dust hanging out under the radiator. To top all this after making a large food shop we found that the oven did not work so a lot of our shopping went to waste. There was no information pack or guest book. Felt like the property had no care taken of it as recent reviews state it has been up for sale. I contacted Sykes several times via the online chat only to be ignorned. I thought booking with such a large national company we would be looked after. How wrong i was.
