Clyro, a small settlement situated on the Welsh border, and just 1 mile from the popular town of Hay-on-Wye, a vibrant cultural market town famed for the annual book festival. With a castle and small independent cinema, Hay has an excellent selection of quirky shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants along with a weekly farmers market on a Thursdays showcasing the seasonal local produce and crafts. In warmer weather you can enjoy paddling or wild swimming on the banks of the river. Walkers are well served with access onto the Offa’s Dyke footpath, and Wye Valley Walk. For a quieter, easier stroll with spectacular views, The Begwns National Trust commons above Clyro is an excellent choice.

Guests have a private access into house via the courtyard gardens, a traditional porchway offers space for coats and boots before you step into the kitchen/diner. Upstairs guests have the choice of four generously sized bedrooms, one double with garden views, one double enjoying a front aspect and a further double, a generously sized bunk bedroom offers additional flexibility for families.
