For a truly unique glamping experience, Slate Cabin appeared on the Channel 4 / Netflix documentary 'Cabins in the Wild' and offers a cosy retreat to enjoy breath-taking scenery.

Offering a truly unique glamping experience, Slate Cabin is the perfect retreat to relax and rejuvenate. Located on a working farm, surrounded by glorious countryside with far-reaching views over Dyfi Valley towards the Snowdonia mountains which can be enjoyed from the comfort of the sumptuous king size bed, window seat or the elevated decking in front of a fire pit. The clever, compact design creates a cosy bolt-hole, featuring a bed that elevates and transforms into a sofa, a small kitchenette area and en suite with a rain shower. Also features a Smart TV and pot-bellied woodburning stove.

The cabin is within a mile of a village pub, shop and cafe in Cemaes. It's a great place for exploring the surrounding Welsh landscape, with Glyndwr's Way (one of only 3 National Trails in Wales) on your doorstep, or travel further afield to visit Snowdonia National Park or popular coastal villages such as Aberdyfi and Barmouth. There's a variety of attractions and activities in the area, including walking, cycling, golfing, horse-riding and fishing.

Size: sleeps two. Not suitable for children or infants

Beds: elevating king size bed.

Rooms: living area which includes the kitchenette, seating area and bed. Separate ensuite with rain shower, wash hand basin and toilet.

Kitchenette and utilities: Two ring gas hob, kitchen sink, a microwave and miniature fridge. Kettle also provided that can be heated on a hob above the woodburner.

Entertainment: Smart TV.

Outside: elevated decking with fire pit, table and chairs to enjoy extensive countryside views.

Parking: parking for 2 cars

General: bed linen and towels provided. Logs for the log burner and electricity included. Welcome pack on arrival.  The owner has a celebration cake making business, please add a note on your booking if you would like to book cakes/cupcakes for your stay and the owner will contact you to discuss further.
