Pay a visit to the ruins of the 13th century Montgomery Castle, which enjoys beautiful views over the town’s timber-framed houses and cobbled streets, and beyond across Wales. The castle also hosts productions of touring theatre groups regularly during the summer. A few miles to the south is the historic market town of Bishop's Castle, an excellent place for a day or night out with its excellent pubs, live music and festivals throughout the year. I was not to happy with your company at the last minute changing the date for arrival as it involve changing hospital dates But even so we had a lovely time and will be going back to her. David
