The stunning National Trust property Powis Castle is 11 miles away and a fine example of a medieval castle with beautiful gardens to explore. Mid Wales is popular for walking with its beautiful scenery and array of trails through the nearby hills including Bryn y Garthmyl, 4.7 miles from the property. Montgomery (6 miles) is also well worth a visit with its impressive castle and great walks along Offa s Dyke Path.
