A lovely, semi-detached brick and stone cottage dating back to the 1900s, in a rural setting 3 miles from the hamlet of Walton, with breathtaking views towards the beautiful Welsh mountains. This delightful Walton cottage has been lovingly renovated to offer spacious accommodation, and is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, including solid oak floors and an original fireplace. This warm and welcoming Walton cottage boasts three charming bedrooms, a well-equipped dining kitchen, a cosy sitting room with a woodburner. This attractive Walton cottage also offers a peaceful garden and patio area, perfect for outdoor dining. With many walks and cycle routes right from the doorstep, this stylish Walton cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing break, at any time of year.

Situated just one mile from the famous Offa's Dyke Pathway, the small hamlet of Walton is home to the delightful Walton Court Farm and a welcoming village pub. Also within a mile is the beautiful Radnor Forest which offers excellent cycling and rambling opportunities. Slightly further away is the pleasant town of Kington - a renowned place amongst walkers, due to its setting and the pretty rolling hills of The Marches. There are also a number of good shops, pubs and restaurants in the town itself. The Mortimer Trail and walks to Hergest Ridge provide visitors to the region with the chance to see the inspiration for music by Elgar and Mike Oldfield whilst the market town of Hay-on-Wye - often called the 'town of books' is within easy driving distance. Hereford too is not far and offers an impressive Norman cathedral and the famous Mappa Mundi.

    The property has good sized rooms and is well appointed with comfortable furniture. The heating system works well and everything is in excellent order. Of all the holiday let’s we’ve visited this one is our favourite.
