What our customers say about their holidays

    • Juliet Greer - Verified booking

We had a great few days at Black Patch which is a comfortable and well-equipped house with ample room for us all. It was warm and there was plenty of hot water. The views from the house were fantastic and we enjoyed the walks nearby and proximity to Presteigne. A visit to Bryan's Ground is strongly recommended. The track up to the house is quite bumpy but that was mentioned in the description - care is needed when arriving by car. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much.

      OMG! What a fabulous place!

We were a party of 18 adults, 2 dogs and baby George, and we were celebrating my 75th birthday. We were the first to use the property, and to be honest, the quality of the furniture, fittings, towels, dressing gowns, bedding, etc, etc, were second to none. The owners are delightful and couldn't do enough for us. Would we recommend it, 150% !!!! We will definitely book it again!!!

A delightfully peaceful & cosy retreat with lovely views. If you need to escape the world for peace & quiet then this is the place. A surprisingly spacious layout upstairs and down, large enough for a big family or even groups of friends. The minute I walked through the door, I wanted to retire from work and live in Black Patch. I would love to go back...

Black Patch, it was really a Beautiful Patch. The scenery was magnificent as this property enjoys an elevated position. A short walk up a nearby hill, then you can almost see the whole of Wales. With the sheep and cows around you, it was a pleasant experience. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It was above my expectations.
