Had such an amazing time at Glyndwr Bach.

We only saw one of the hosts, but he was so kind and accommodating. The place was clean and cosy, we especially loved the under floor heating on the ground floor. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, please be mindful kitchen doesn't have an oven but you could always bring a small airfryer there is space on work surface. We looked up microwave instructions online and it does have cooking functions. Glyndwr Bach was very clean only thing we noticed was some slight mold/staining in bathroom fan but otherwise very clean. The area is lovely we enjoyed walking into Betws-y-coed in the evenings for dinner and we went on several walks around the surrounding area which are well maintained. A short drive to Yr Wyddfa, location is really perfect. It's worth stocking up on essentials before you arrive as local Spar/Londis are expensive and fairly limited as only small shops. We went to an Aldi on the A38 about 55 minutes away on the way in. We are so sorry about the dragon and for taking awhile to review.

We found this the perfect location for us not too far from places we wanted to visit and Betwsy d coed is a beautiful little village with some lovely eateries.

Wales is quite expensive for eating out but its choice as you can eat in if you want to cook your own food. A really nice touch with the welcome hamper left for us. My partner is 6 foot tall and banged his quite often on the bedroom ceiling and staircase so be careful. It gave me a few laughs. We loved the hot tub but it can be a problem with midges around the water. My partner got bitten really badly and looked like he had measles. Would be a good idea to tell guests to bring insect repellent or even provide this. The bed was very noisy when turning over in the night due to loose bolts at the bottom. And the bathroom door was very squeeky which could do with sorting. Could do with another toilet roll leaving as two for a week isn't really enough. However these minor things would not stop us staying again, they are just an honest review of our time here. Lovely place thankyou Lucy and Gari

The cottage was beautifully presented and loved the activity on the working farm.

We enjoyed the extra touches - the milk, cake, magazine, family games. Most things were clean and tidy and well presented. However, the kettle was dirty inside, the stair gate was broken which wasn’t an issue for us due to a well behaved dog and older children but had our kids been younger this would have presented an issue for us. We also struggled with locking the front door and on several occasions came back to find it unlocked and were confused as to why as we thought we’d locked it. I also thought the listing should mention that the nearest town/village is actually a 15-20 minute drive along an almost single track road. This wasn’t made clear.

(Reviewing from our holiday in June).

Stunning location, with fabulous views. The farmhouse was perfect for us. We thought we would be making full use of the pool table during our stay, but we had the most amazing weather so we spent most of our time out and about and sitting outside the farmhouse. There is everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable, and would recommend this accommodation to anyone. The only slightly negative comment we would make is that the wall at the front of the property is quite low so if you have dogs, you will need to be aware of this because of the proximity of the sheep and cows in the fields. We didn't leave our dogs unattended whilst outside.

The standard of cleaning should have been higher.

For example - my husband washed the kitchen floor. The water in the bucket was filthy. We took our boots off at the door and we did not walk in any mud which would indicate the floor had not been washed for a few weeks. We only used the toaster and that was completely full of crumbs. I think this could present a fire risk as it had obviously not been checked and cleaned. We found blobs of blue toothpaste on the upstairs bath, we were using white. The bottom rail on the door was very dirty and had not been dusted lately. The outdoor seating needs to be stained as it was so dry bits of wood came off on our clothes. The cottage needs decorating.
