Ty Nain is a charming cottage praised for its idyllic location and cleanliness. Guests appreciate the comfortable bedrooms and well-equipped nature of the property, set in a beautiful setting by the river. While some furnishings and aspects of maintenance are noted as needing attention, the overall experience remains positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The cottage is generally found to be clean, though some guests have noted areas such as window and door frames that could benefit from additional cleaning. The bathroom blinds were specifically mentioned as needing replacement due to being unclean.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, with easy access to local walks, a nearby pub, and a restaurant. The setting by the river and on the green is consistently appreciated by guests.
Bedrooms are described as comfortable and clean, but the living room furniture, including a lounge chair and a sofa bed, has been described as uncomfortable and in need of replacement.
The property is well-equipped, but several reviews mention the need for updates and repairs, such as fixing the heater in the kitchen, replacing the dining table, and addressing issues with the TV and bathroom seals.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Wouldâve loved to explore more had the weather been permitting! Easy and regular bus service to Caernarfon - would recommend!

It was disappointing to note that notable defects with the TV and arm chair have not been resolved despite featuring in general reviews for several months. Overall the property is looking a little tired in places.
