Guests say

Mill Cottage is a charming and well-situated property in North Wales, appreciated for its quirky details, cosy atmosphere, and dog-friendly amenities. Guests have enjoyed the generous welcome gifts, the property's proximity to local attractions, and the well-maintained terraced gardens. While some guests mentioned traffic noise and a need for updates, the overall experience has been positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The majority of guests found Mill Cottage to be clean and well-kept, with a few noting areas that could benefit from deeper cleaning or attention. The presence of coal dust, a dirty rug, and some grit on bedding were mentioned, but these instances seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to North Wales attractions and the beauty of the surrounding area. However, the proximity to a busy road has been noted by several guests as a source of noise, which detracts slightly from the overall appeal.

Guests have reported that Mill Cottage offers a warm and cosy environment, especially with the log burner in use. The bedrooms are comfortable, although there are suggestions that the sofa and mattress could be updated for enhanced comfort.

The cottage is well-equipped with a newly refurbished bathroom, a full kitchen, and ample wood for the fire. The facilities have been described as thoughtful and generous, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, some guests have suggested minor improvements and maintenance.

The owner's thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating the welcome gifts, including treats for both humans and dogs. While these gestures are warmly received, it is noted that such generosity may vary and is not guaranteed for every stay.

Everything you need. The garden could do with some love. We were hoping that the fire pit was there as there is one showing in the photo. But we couldn't find one. The road was very busy and noisy.
