What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mr Jonathan Dean - Verified booking

Very well placed in the centre of town for fantastically short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants though this comes with a downside see below. Beautiful apartment, very well maintained and furnished. It was spacious and comfortable and everything within the owner's control is fabulous! A super place to spend two weeks and a place we would return to. Downside: Not within the owner's control but it is noisy - next door to a pub beer garden so loud chatter and laughter till 11am ish each night and across the road from a nightclub which means you get treated to loud expletive-ridden arguments at 2am 2-3 nights a week. If we had younger children this would stop us from returning but our children are old enough to sleep through it. Also parking around the apartment is very busy - all over the double yellow lines, blocking in the designated space for the apartment most days and, on one occasion, IN the designated parking space! Employees of the next door bar appear to use it as their workplace car park.

The apartment was well situated for Saundersfoot, with a ten minute walk into the town.. The kitchen was well equipped. with good quality utensils and crockery. The T.V. easy to use, however the sofa facing the T.V. was uncomfortable as the upholstery was a leather look material and slippy. The Bathroom was a good size with plenty of hot water. The main bedroom was small but adequate. The second bedroom beds were rather uncomfortable. Sadly, small details were irritating. No washing up liquid, we did not want to use the dishwasher for only breakfast bowls etc. No salt and pepper. Half a toilet roll. The patio was a sun trap with adequate garden furniture but the area had many weeds. For a little effort these small details could be resolved at not a great deal of cost. The company were helpful on the phone before booking and staff very pleasant and helpful in the office.

Pros - Modern, good size apartment a short walk from Saundersfoot.

The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of crockery/cutlery etc. We were left a nice welcome pack. Cons - The bed gave us hip and back ache. The sofa was also too firm which made it uncomfortable when we tried to sit in an evening and watch TV. The property would benefit from a deep clean. The oven is dirty, I had to wash an oven tray before I could use it as it was dirty from the last use. I had to clean the toaster before we could use it, it was full of not just crumbs but sticky pieces of something. The bathroom sink pop up waste has black mould on the seal. Overall we enjoyed our winter week away and exploring Pembrokeshire. I would stay in these apartments again but I would bring a mattress topper for the bed.

The property is ideal for a short break but could really do with a washing machine (although plumbing is in-situ) for stays of seven days.

The location is ideal (5 minute comfortable walk) for access to Saundersfoot town and beach albeit up an incline. We were disappointed with the cleaning regime for the property. The underside of the toilet seat was far from clean (if you know what I mean) and we needed to clean the bath before using for the first time. The large patio doors to the garden area really need a clean. I thought a little mean to provide just a single part-used toilet roll considering the length of our stay. We needed to purchase batteries for the TV remote control. The above probably seems perhaps picky but this property could be so much better and would have left a better impression with consideration to the above.

    • Mr Wise - Verified booking

The apartment was beautifully clean and a great location, we would definitely visit again, we had a lovely stay. It was very well equipped and modern. It was warm and very comfortable (sofas and beds). Considering the central location in town, there was no noise disruption. The downside was there was no view as such, but for us that didn't matter as we were out sightseeing most of the time and only used as a base location. It was great value for the centre of town and the level of accommodation/number of bedrooms etc, we were really satisfied and it exceeded our expectations.
