What our customers say about their holidays

    • Philip - Verified booking

This property advertises itself as 5* , although it is well appointed, clean and functional I have stayed at 5* properties and there are a few small alterations this property would need to make to fit this criteria in my opinion.

The property has fabulous views and plenty of seating to allow you to enjoy these views, 2 of bedrooms are very well proportioned but the "middle" double bedroom is very small with very little space between the bed and the wall, the snug is a lovely touch adjoining this room but the bedroom itself is claustrophobic. The children's bedroom and the main double bedroom are a lovely size and have en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is lovely, there are plenty of glasses, plates, cutlery etc. The dishwasher is an appreciated extra and again this room over looks the sea which is a great way to enjoy a meal together. The sitting room is comfortable and a couple of comfy chairs are provided to sit in the bay and watch the waves crashing on the headland opposite. Some of the improvements that I would suggest are: better quality bedding - the duvet in our room was substantially smaller than the duvet cover and was therefore not very comfortable for sleeping. I would recommend providing hand towels as well as bath towels as 1 towel per person for all uses for a week is not sufficient and ideally you do not want to be doing laundry all week to keep towels fresh. There are ALOT of locked cupboards, doors, drawers and units, I fully appreciate that some items need to be kept secure and that the owners may well live in the property out of high season but it can feel very unwelcoming to find locked units in most rooms and loses the "boutique" feel of the property, you don't find locked drawers in a 5* hotel and I've not encountered this in other boutique properties, perhaps to condense these types of items to one or two locations would reduce this feel. This was a lovely base to enjoy Wales from and a good sized property which gave us all plenty of space to relax, the price band was high, but fair given the fact we were visiting during the August Bank Holiday, although the apartment overlooks the sea but the beach is a 10/15 minute walk away, albeit an easy, flat and pavemented walk, the beach is sandy and feels safe for use by all the family, the smaller rocky coves closer to the apartment offer rockpooling opportunities and beautiful sunset views. I would recommend this property.

My family and I recently stayed in the Trearddur Views apartment for our annual Anglesey holiday.

I cannot recommend it enough. It was immaculate and well stocked with everything important to enhance our holiday. Beautiful white duvets, pillows and pleasing quality bedding. A bath and hand towel provided for seven guests plus a large selection of beach towels for use too. Three fabulous bedrooms - one incorporates an en-suite wet room, another has an ensuite bathroom with shower and the main family bathroom opposite the middle bedroom is almost like an en-suite thanks to the layout of the property. The kitchen is very spacious with an extending dining table, a generous amount of plates, dishes, cups, glasses, pans etc and a well stocked utility cupboard. A spacious, tastefully decorated living room with fantastic views of the ‘Haunted House’ and a lovely seating area in the large bay window to enjoy the views. The artwork throughout is very interesting and depicts local scenery, local historical prints and places of interest. Myself and my family particularly enjoyed seeing the history of the area as I have been holidaying in Trearddur with my extended family for over 50 years. The apartment itself is up a well lit flight of stairs and has two outside areas to enjoy. The first houses a chiminea and seating and the higher one has outdoor furniture and table and the greenery surrounding both is neat and maintained to the highest spec. As it is positioned higher up than ground level this apartment offers the most fabulous views of the surrounding area and Trearddur Bay beach - beautiful to enjoy both morning and evening and we have already booked for next year. I would highly recommend anybody considering booking this property to do so without hesitation.

Where do I begin with my appreciation for this outstanding apartment that my family have stayed in for the third year running .

. We discovered it in 2020 and intend to holiday here each year for as long as we can .. It is exceptionally well situated and hosts two fabulous outdoor sitting areas on two separate levels .. The lower has seating and a chiminea for use and is as beautifully picturesque as the upper balcony which provides high quality cushioned outdoor furniture and hosts a magnificent view of the bay and surrounding areas .. It really is breathtaking … The layout of the apartment is incredible … Three spacious bedrooms, two en suite and the family bathroom almost serves as an en suite to the middle bedroom .. Tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, beautiful bedding with such comfy beds and quality towels provided for each guest .. The living room and kitchen are stunning with perfect decor and attention to detail .. cosy, inviting and again, immaculately clean .. In fact too much to list ! The kitchen is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay and includes a washing machine plus a wonderful welcome basket from the lovely and very thoughtful owner Julie … This apartment exceeds expectations and is not to be missed and is a credit to you Julie…. hence our return this coming August and booked already for 2025 .. Thanks Julie … my family and I are so looking forward to our special week in August !

My family and I have just returned from our second stay at this stunning apartment .

. We booked for the first time August 2020 and have booked already for 2021 and 2022.. Testament to an amazing space beautifully situated with fabulous views of the Bay, ‘Haunted House’ and surrounding areas.. It’s within walking distance of the beach, shops, bars and restaurants and boasts two outdoor sitting areas on two levels beautifully maintained to the highest spec.. The kitchen is so spacious with an abundance of pots, pans, crockery etc and so much more.. There are three superb sized bedrooms, two with en-suites and a family bathroom that serves almost as an en-suite to the middle bedroom .. Comfy beds, quality tasteful bedding and white towels provided for each guest ... Living room also very spacious and comfortable with high quality furniture and decor with tv, WiFi and again, much more .. We were welcomed with a lovely surprise from the owner Julie .. a well stocked hamper basket of wine, goodies and essentials which was so thoughful and beautifully presented ... Julie is so personable and prompt in replying to messages etc ... Her apartment is a credit to her and the pictures do not do this fantastic holiday home justice.. needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated .. I can’t recommend this highly enough and our returning stay proved to be every bit as wonderful as our first ..

This ground floor flat was very hard to find.

Put the postcode in and it takes you further up the road. It took us a good 30 to 45 mins to find the flat. Outside of the flat is not really very welcoming on a busy main road looking out onto a black stoned wall from across the road. However, the inside was very clean, tidy and comfy. There was a smell of damp in the bathroom and evidence of this between the shower and toilet. The flat was cold on arrival and it was very difficult to find the central heating controls, but they were found and was able to take the chill off the flat. The bedding and towels were all nice and fresh, also the whole of the flat was spotless. The flats location was ideal because I was attending a sportive at The Harbour. But on booking remember the flat is situated on a busy main road which limits (if warm ) choices of opening windows to let in fresh air due to the noise from the road. I also felt like if l left the windows open someone would gain easy access to the flat.
