A very well equipped apartment catering for all tastes. We knew about the lack of an outside area to enjoy the weather however the grounds were great for dog walking with stunning views over the Blyth valley and the accompanying literature was comprehensive on the regions' places and venues to visit which was ideal for our planning for the duration. For us the Jewel in the Crown was the leisure centre and its online booking system allowing us to exclusively enjoy the 3 differing facilities of a decent sized swimming pool, gym and games room with table football, table tennis and pool table. Our ground floor apartment was very comfortable for we two adults and our dog and having two bedrooms is perfect for a family of four also. The grounds were peaceful, locals friendly and we had our own parking spot. All in all a relaxing and enjoyable break in a well maintained property and complex, thank you.

the evening without have a numb backside at the end of it. Although the building work next door was not too intrusive there was no fence on the low dividing wall and therefore we felt we were not able to sit outside with any privacy. This and looking onto a building site and portaloo. A welcome pack was advertised but none was provided. The flat looked a lot bigger on the website pictures and we were surprised on how small it is. Overall the flat is adequate but could be dressed better. Some of the decore looked very dated. The bed was comfortable and it was great to have parking onsite. The location was great as only a short walk to the high street.

Property lovely plenty of China and glasses .
Good quality equipment and lots of it. Thank you for welcome gifts much appreciated. Few little things the big plates stop dishwasher arm from going round . The balcony glass does need cleaning I did leave note for cleaners and main shower was not draining properly also key box very stiff we struggled with it and a spare set of keys would be very useful as we found we constantly were worried when putting shoes on in lobby we could get locked out of house door if we didnât put latch on or have key but non of this affected us we thought you had a beautiful place and very well equipped and comfortable and sunset was amazing

We found The View to be a very attractive apartment, light and airy, comfortable bed, very quiet and with far-reaching views across the town. It is very well positioned which is one of the things which made us choose it. I could see the church clock as I was lying in bed which was very useful for checking the time, LOL. For us, since we are in our 70s, the one downside was the lack of a lift. We thought we would be able to cope with the 56 stairs to the top floor but it was hard going. However, we would definitely recommend this flat to younger relatives and friends.

There are three floors to climb but even in our late 70s it proved manageable and worthwhile. The views of the church and lighthouse are spectacular from a 270 degree panorama of glass. I particularly appreciated the living space with settee and multiple armchairs. It's a great space to relax in and is warm. Position ideal with Adnams next door. Rest of the accommodation much as you'd expect in a property of this quality.
