What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mr Humphreys - Verified booking

The apartment is in a great central location and benefits from a car park space. It’s light and airy in decor and has a nice feel to it. All kitchen equipment need is supplied so very easy to self-cater if choose. Nice welcome pack provided. Sadly we had to purchase our own bedding ( duvet, pillows, cushions ) to use while at the property as despite it being advertised as pet-free ( which implies no fur , hair, dander , feathers etc) the set supplied was all feather. This caused exasperation of asthma due to allergic reaction - brought to lettings / owners attention but no recompense offered for costs incurred. The apartment also has the most uncomfortable set of sofas - lots of references to that in the in-property guest book. So not the most comfortable of apartments to stay in.

The Hideaway is a delightful property tucked away just off the High Street. We love it and return each year. It is spacious and airy and very peaceful (except for the annual rearing of young herring gulls on the Conservative Club roof which is quite fascinating to observe. Parents noisily protective.) It is most important for us to have private parking and this property has its own parking place in the courtyard. The property is furnished in a modern style with well appointed kitchen. I would recommend this lovely flat to any couple who are happy to climb stairs and share the hallway with another flat and The Bakery on the High Street. It is a perfect location and a perfect place to relax.

This was our second visit to shoreline we had a lovely time here 5 years ago, in August 2014. This was wonderful! Shoreline is beautifully decorated, perfectly located very comfortable and extremely well stocked! Despite the rain we had a brilliant time! We warmed ourselves by the fire at the Cross Keys pub and went to the cinema, we had fish n chips at the Aldeburgh Golden Gallion, we had a splendid dinner at the Lighthouse and when the sun shone for us we spent a morning walking to Thorpeness and enjoyed the conservation are there. We cant wait to come back.

This apartment is very well equipped and extremely compact. It has a nice PROPER shower, two POANG chairs, John Lewis cookware, a LARGE fridge and a separate LARGE freezer plus plenty of storage! It is next to the Brudenell Hotel so has a "Royal Tier" view of the New Year FIREWORKS! There's no sea view but this can be an advantage during the Winter storms! There's a shared washing machine in a directly adjoining room with plenty of hanging arrangements. iron and ironing board plus a vacuum cleaner IN this shared adjoining room. The bed is VERY comfortable!

    • Mr Drake - Verified booking

The apartment is great. Well kept, clean and roomy. location is great and parking a plus. The only issue I would highlight (and I have shared with the owners) is the sunlight that floods into bedroom as soon as it gets light (about 5am at the moment). The bedroom is nice but people need to know there are no curtains behind the bed to stop the light. Would we return? Yes - if they put in some curtains. and definitely, no if they didn't. Hopefully this comment confirms everything else was absolutely fine and as advertised.
