What our customers say about their holidays

    • Chris - Verified booking

      Enjoyed our stay.

Good, clean and well-equipped cottage and great swimming pool. However, it is unacceptable to even mention the tennis court as a facility as it was in an unplayable condition, which was disappointing. Also, loose paving stones, especially on the steps, need fixing as an accident could happen. Final comment is that if you state 'no pets' you should also warn customers that you have a dog that wanders around the garden. No matter how well-behaved Digby is, some people may have a problem with dogs.

Heath Retreat is the most tranquil cottage, it has stunning views and great wildlife.

The owners were very friendly. We also organised nibbles for are arrival, which was delicious, made by the owners wife. I would would not hesitate in recommending this cottage to family and friends and would like to think that we would return.
