      What a lovely bungalow, everything you need here. we love the decor, love the theme and love the colours. Wish we could take it home. We have been very lucky witht he weather, visiting Brighton Royal Pavilion wow what a place! The decorated rooms are out of this world. Rye is a very old medieval town, if you park by the railway station it is cheaper and you can pay by card. Camber for a sunny beach. Dungeness, shingle beach with two lighthouses and a railway station with a steam train. We had our breakfast at The Ship and it was delicious, they serve it up to 11am each morning. There is a small shop and butchers. Restaurants serve food up to 3pm. We recommend No 31 for a drink, a no frills bar. Thank you

You have obviously put a huge amount of thought into what to provide for your guests and this shines through in every single room! The homely touches are delightful and we felt welcome and confortable from the moment we arrived. Forget Me Not is clearly a labour of love and there is a genuine warmth throughout the property. The children loved the puppy dog in their room and were bery appreciative of the welcome sweets. We all loved the lemon drizzle cake and thought the welcome groceries were a lovely touch.       We had to have a change of holiday this time due to the imminent arrival of our first baby. We were lucky enough to chance on Forget Me Not. It was a great find, a beautifully equipped bungalow with excellent local walks that we had no idea about before we go here. we had a lovely week and even stayed an extra night. Lovely, relaxing and comfortable stay. We noticed and felt the love and care that had gone into the cottage, including the welcome food, the amazingly equipped kitchen. Location great for beaches, nature reserve walks and Rye is worth a visit. Mariners fish and chip bar is also a must.

      This was a very well equipped house with the owners living next door. They were so welcoming and even had some treats for us like a bottle of wine chilled, 4 pints of milk, chocolates and a home made and very delicious lemon drizzle cake. We took their advice on restaurants and walks which proved to be excellent. The location is great as it is near a beautiful shingle beach, there is a regular bus into Hastings and Rye and lots of walking trails we could walk. Also there is a well stocked Coop and a couple of takeaways. Sadly, the local pub was being refurbished but it certainly looked inviting.

      Lovely weeks holiday with fantastic sunny weather! Visited many local landmarks including Rye and the National Trust property Lamb House, Winchelsea with its Court Hall Museum, Spike Milligan's grave with a lovely meal in The New Inn. We travelled from Hythe to Dungeness on the steam railway and visited Pevensey Castle. Forget Me Not was very comfortable to stay in with everything you could need. Sorry couldn't use the garden due to baby seagulls- but they were fascinating to watch. Loved the lemon drizzle cake and wine. Thank you for a lovely stay.

    Camber Sands is a beach in East Sussex, UK, in the village of Camber, near Rye. It is the only sand dune system in East Sussex, and is east of the estuary of the River Rother at Rye Bay stretching 3 miles to just beyond the Kent border, where shingle and pebbles take over again.
