What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mr Clayton - Verified booking

Excellent...this really is a hidden gem. The attention to detail is second to none...the decor, accessories, appliances are all high spec and well worth mentioning. Not one cheap item in the property to take away from the hard work put in. The bed is super comfy and bedding super soft...so a good nights sleep was never in question. The lounge furniture was excellent quality, again, no corners cut, lovely comfy settee lovely log burner. Outside the garden is a lovely size, with a perfect hot tub with hooks for the dressing gowns provided. For those looking for a hiking holiday or cycling holiday, you can't go wrong with this property, a shed to lock your bikes safely in over night, and walks/rides available straight from your front door...plenty of them too! The owners were fab answering all questions promptly and precisely, meeting us on the day we arrived, but then leaving us to our own devices. Hayley and Rick should be proud of what they have achieved. Great welcome hamper, with everything you need to get going upon arrival...tea, coffee, bread, eggs, milk and welsh cakes...a welcome surprise for us. A beautiful Christmas was had here and great memories made.

A lovely 3-bedroom bungalow situated on a family farm. The home is comfortable and has everything you need for a week's stay, the homemade cake on arrival was a welcome surprise after our long journey. The bird feeders were awesome and hours were spent watching the different varieties of birds, especially the Woodpeckers!! The only thing to be aware of is that the property is very very remote and is a good 20-minute drive from the main roads, so be prepared for this, the postcode does take you straight to the door though, so trust the sat nav down the narrow country lanes!! Located in the beautiful Welsh Countryside with excellent views, this really was a peaceful and lovely cottage.

Stayed for 6 nights from June 7th and loved the cottage it was like home from home. Perfect for relaxing and if it’s country life and walks and bills then the location is perfect or if it’s beaches and adventure then no more than an hours drive away. At first when you arrive it seems out in the middle of nowhere but don’t be put off as there is lots around just research areas and plan ahead and it will be perfect. The owners Georgina and Dave were amazing never bothered you unless you needed anything and nothing was too much trouble. If you need to get away and just relax with no worries then definitely consider this place.

    • Mr Mackintosh - Verified booking

The property is a bit of a drive over the hills, but is in the most stunning location. The owner was incredibly friendly and we would have loved to have stayed longer. The setting is at the bottom of a valley surrounded by pheasants and a couple of farm dogs. A 20 minute walk up the hill leads to views of Snowdon and Siabod which makes for a glorious sunset. The cottage itself is warm and cosy and well insulated with plenty of wood for an open fire. All the facilities are also great - dishwasher, big TV, comfy sofas etc. Will definitely be coming back!

    • Mrs Pamela Bevan - Verified booking

Greeted by the owner, we found this property to be very comfortable and cosy. All needs catered for including delicious cake on arrival. Oodles of hot water and central heating, wifi despite being slightly off the beaten track and location very peaceful with lovely views. A little distant from main tourist areas but no more than a half hour drive to places such as Conwy, Llandudno, Betws y Coed, etc. Local shops are in nearby Llanrwst (check out Mr Jones the butcher!!) . Would definitely recommend.
