    Rhyl Holiday Cottages

Rhyl is a bustling seaside town in the northeast of Wales. It's a very popular tourist destination due to its beautiful stretch of golden sand beach and seaside attractions. The town itself is a great destination for families to enjoy, with fun attractions including a theatre, outdoor play areas, the Rhyl miniature railway and an aquarium. Watersport enthusiasts can spend the day at nearby Marine Lake, which hosts lots of activities including waterskiing, sailing, or kayaking. Marine Lake is also a lovely area for walking and enjoying the pretty Welsh scenery, as are the nearby Gronant Dunes.

Each of our Rhyl holiday cottages has something special to offer. Our small, cosy cottages are perfect for couples who want to hide away from the world and enjoy a romantic break. For bigger groups, such as families with kids, grandparents and dogs too, we have open-plan farmhouses or beautifully designed barn conversions.

Here at Snaptrip, we list thousands of UK holiday cottages which are all backed by our best price guarantee. What our customers say about their holidays

    • Jennifer - Verified booking

The cottage was very comfortable with 2 seating areas inside.

The conservatory was our preferred seating area as it was much lighter than the cosy lounge. As mentioned in the accomodation information, the stairs are steep and you do have to take care when leaving the double bedroom. But it's a cottage and it's quirky and you soon become used to things. Outside there are 3 deep steps to the lawned garden which is completely private. The cottage was very clean and had lots of extras. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We made use of a walking guide we found on the bookshelf and also visited the pub opposite which was friendly. Only ate there once and would recommend. Lots to do round and about - Prestatyn (try Crispy Cod for fish and chips) and Bodnant Gardens are but two. A highly enjoyable, relaxing 4 night stay and i would highly recommend the cottage. If you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of the peacock which seems to live in a neighbours garden!

Sigma Pent House was absolutely fabulous, its in a beautiful location and and has fantastic scenery all around.

Plus a very friendly pub within a couple of minutes walk where they served superb food. Would love to say it was a home from home, but honestly it was even better !! Everything we could have wished for and more. Site Manager Gail was so pleasant, friendly, and helpful explaining anything we needed to know about the property, aswell as giving suggestions of places to visit. We travelled last minute as a family of 6, having just has a holiday to Holland cancelled whilst on route to the port of Hull -( thank you P&O) but finding this little gem more than made up for any of our earlier disappointment. I was honestly amazed that this stunning property was available to book at such short notice, but we were all so glad it was. I could continue to sing the praises of this stunning property but don't want to find its fully booked all year round as we certainly want to return.

We really enjoyed our time at Cove House.

It was really well set out though I have already said to the owners that the one thing that made it not 100% was that you had to use one of the bedrooms to get to the sun room and garden. The road to access the bungalow are badly potholed but this is pointed out on the information in the description of the property and is no fault of the owners. I didn't read the information book provided and had to call the owners Si and Rach for help with the cooker hob! So save yourselves some time and read the info book that has all the info you need. I was hoping to book again but the dates I wanted had gone so I hope that shows what I think about Cove House.

      What a gem.

The cottage was spotless and there was everything there that we needed to make for an enjoyable stay. The location was perfect (apart from the roads which we knew about in advance) near enough to all the shops etc but far enough away to allow for a quiet week away. The support offered by the owners was greatly appreciated but luckily wasn't needed. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a comfortable and quiet stay within driving distance to most of the beautiful places North Wales has to offer.

      The cottage was lovely.

Clean, tidy and well set up,the village is just perfect and quiet. However we are so sorry to say that there are 2 major issues that need attention. The main double bed was absolutely awful. I have bruises on my hips, elbows and shoulders from the springs poking through. We tried to alleviate it by laying blankets and pillows over it but to no joy. Without trying to sleep on it you won’t know. The other was the smell from the oil tank. There must either be a leak or spillage from a recent fill up.
