What our customers say about their holidays

This property is so cute, stylish & comfy - really felt like home from home.

Perfectly placed in the middle of Rhyl & Prestatyn with nice coastal walks either way. It however does need a few little things just to make it 10/10. - no hooks on bedroom or bathroom doors (sounds petty but don't realise how useful these are until you don't have any) - washing machine & dishwasher smelt fusty & mouldy. Dishwasher did improve as it was used through the week but washing machine did make clothes smell a bit fusty - edge of bath cracked - no mirrors in bedrooms, only a full length one right at the top of stairs. Had to be careful not to step too far back when doing hair & make up - no TV signal so have to use apps to watch any telly. Couldnt add new apps as it asks for a PIN that wasn't provided so had to watch some stuff on our phones - information about bin collection is wrong in the welcome pack, says they collect on Thursdays but it was actually Wednesday - there is a CCTV camera in the back garden, I get it's for security when the property is empty but did make me feel a bit uneasy being filmed when out in the garden - some the lights in the property are bit strange, no shades on the energy saving bulbs & quite often when we put those lights on they would keep going straight back off - took about 4 times of turning on, off, on, off before they actually stayed on All in all the property is great & we would return again in the future.

Generally a lovely property but requires a really good deep clean.

Kitchen draw was filthy any some cupboards required a clean before putting anything away on arrival. Downstairs loo hadn’t been cleaned, some loo cleaner had been put in it to make it look as though it had. Could do with a door mat at the bifold door. So many opened cleaning products - perhaps just try to have one of each and have them under just the kitchen sink? Washing machine needs a clean. The doors into the property need a vacuum whilst being open. Bit of storage in the bathroom would be helpful, perhaps a basket tower storage or mending the shelf so you can put tooth brushes ect on. Loved the comfy sofa and was so easy to get to the beach -even with some works going on. Parking was really easy and found the property easily. Host was very helpful and very kindly supplied a baby gate and helped when the tv stopped working. Just needs a deep clean and a bit of a tidy in the kitchen.

      We had a lovely stay.

This house is in a great location. We were so pleased that it you allowed dogs to stay. The pans for cooking in were great. Completely none stick and looked brand new. The crockery was good. Thank you for the goodies too. Bottle of proscecco, chocolate, crisps, etc. That was a lovely thought. The shower leaks a little when used. The leak comes from where the hose comes out of the shower itself. Just letting you know because of it being electric. Also you need something on top of the cupboard to put the hot pans and grill pan on. You have nice cupboards and it would be a shame to ruin them . It would be nice to have a mirror in the back bedroom too. Thank you so much. We had a lovely stay

The property was really nice and in a good location.

Very clean and the garden was a good size. However there were a few niggily things that were a bit annoying that could have made the experience a bit better such as there were no oven gloves so had to use a tea towel to get hot trays out which was not good, there was no way to dry clothes after doing a wash except for outside which is not ideal on a cold/wet day so a tumble dryer or a washer/dryer would have been useful, there was only 1 tea towel so a few more would have been better and there was only Now TV to watch so could only watch tv via apps rather than normal freeview/Sky and you couldn’t see what was on to watch unless you went on the apps. A tv guide would have been good

We stayed here on the 21st - 24th Aug 2023.

The house was so lovely, very clean and there was some essentials waiting for us when we got there; tea, coffee, milk, bread and biscuits which was a nice touch and much needed. The kitchen facilities were amazing and fully stocked with everything you would need. The bathroom was nice and clean and with a great shower. The garden was good too and our little dog loved it!! The host had left us a welcome booklet with everything we would need to know about the house and the area and the beach was very close. I would 100% recommend this house. Thank you.
