What our customers say about their holidays

    • Melanie - Verified booking

Amazing house in an amazing location!

The house itself is literally a 2 minute walk from the beach, there is plenty to see and do in Prestatyn. The instructions provided to find the house was spot on, as well as where to find the front door key. Once you have paid your full balance you are then given the code for the key box (where the front door is) as well as other information you require, as such as the housekeeping bond that needs to be paid 14 days before you arrive. All good communication. The house itself ticked all the boxes - big enough for our entire group (8 adults, 7 children aged 5-10 as well as one very well behaved dog). There are other reviews that state the bedrooms are a little on the small side, however this didn’t impact us at all - we only used the bedrooms to get changed and sleep! We rarely used the spacious living room because the dining area and the games room were big enough to house us all. The patio door (separating the living room and games rooms) was sound proof so when the children were all asleep, the adults of the group sat in the games room and played games, etc. Some of the group even used the washing machine and tumble dryer facilities - it’s so good when you find a holiday house that has everything you need. We all absolutely loved the weekend at the Beach House, and we would definitely recommend! 10 out of 10 for house and location!

We all had an amazing weekend staying at The Beach House.

The house was immaculate! A big shoutout to the housekeeping team, who not only allowed my daughter in law to put the party food in the fridge before our check in time but made sure the house was spotless on arrival. There was enough room in the house for every couple in our party to have their own bathroom and personal space. The garden was fully enclosed so was safe for the children and the dogs. We even used the front garden for the girls to have a tea party with their teddies on the table ❤️. Obviously, the house is called The Beach House so we expected a nearby beach but WOW! What an amazing location. Such a beautiful beach. Our only complaint is that we weren’t staying longer. We have all already said that we would love to return and have recommended to a few friends that are looking for a large house to take the family. Almost forgot to mention the welcome basket. What a lovely touch. Thank you for an amazing stay. It made my husband’s birthday celebrations so special.

This is a loverly cottage in a great rural location with the added bonus of an enclosed garden for our dog to sit out and enjoy.

The property is only a quick drive away from the main town for all your shopping needs and close to the main highways so you don’t have to travel that far to get going when you want venture out and about. There are also some lovely walks you can take straight from your doorstep which was very handy. We had a couple of minor gripes - the water pressure in the main bathroom was not the greatest and some work is required in regard to the wash basin taps as they were loose and moved when you turned them on and off. The other main issue was the WiFi, it was very good in the kitchen, and in the up stairs bedroom (directly above the kitchen) but awful on the other side of the house where the main front room and TV is located. I would recommend to the owner to install some WiFi boosters around the house as this would definitely help. Overall though our stay was great and we would definitely stay again in the future.

The house was lovely, very clean and well equipped.

It was a fantastic size and suited myself, mum and 4 year old perfectly. The garden was a nice size and secure for our two miniature dachshunds. When we first entered the house you could tell the heating had been on, it was lovely and warm and really hit you. The heating didn't come back on though, we tried to override it as per the instructions but nothing worked. It did get a bit cool in the evenings but there was 2 plug in heaters that kept us warm. Some clearer instructions on how to reach the house would be great, my sat nav sent me up a residential street which then went into a very narrow and steep lane before announcing we'd reached our destination. However, the owner was a phone call away and once we'd be guided onto the correct road, the house is very easy to find! All in all, a lovely stay, we was very lucky with the weather and spent our few days in October on the beach!! Thank you!

      We had a lovely stay.

This house is in a great location. We were so pleased that it you allowed dogs to stay. The pans for cooking in were great. Completely none stick and looked brand new. The crockery was good. Thank you for the goodies too. Bottle of proscecco, chocolate, crisps, etc. That was a lovely thought. The shower leaks a little when used. The leak comes from where the hose comes out of the shower itself. Just letting you know because of it being electric. Also you need something on top of the cupboard to put the hot pans and grill pan on. You have nice cupboards and it would be a shame to ruin them . It would be nice to have a mirror in the back bedroom too. Thank you so much. We had a lovely stay
