What our customers say about their holidays

    • Maggie & Olly - Verified booking

The Best Place to Stay in Brighton - Corner Cottage! We just cannot fault Corner Cottage! From the perfect location to the beautiful interior this cottage is an absolute gem to get the most out of a trip to Brighton. Myself and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights and the cottage was key to making our trip so memorable. There is parking literally a stones throw away so you don’t have to worry about lugging bags/suitcases very far and the cottage itself was very easy to find with the instructions given from Emily the owner. When we arrived to the Cottage we both thought it was just gorgeous! Tucked away in the Lanes with its bright pink door, it was just pretty as a picture! The gorgeousness continued inside! Each room was so tastefully decorated with colour and elements of Brighton’s history running throughout. You have all you need inside, full kitchen utensils, Netflix on the TV, games in the cupboard and cosy comfy beds! Also, despite being in central Brighton, you wouldn’t know as we didn’t have any noise keeping us awake which was great! We stayed as just one couple but the cottage has 2 double rooms with en suites and a third twin room which can sleep 3, so perfect for family’s or couples travelling together! I would say the main feature that we thought was amazing was the location, you really are a stones through away from absolutely everything! The beach/pier is a 5 minute walk away, there are fabulous restaurants such as the Giggling Squid and The Breakfast Club right on the doorstep and we explored the Lanes abundance of bars, shops and coffee shops all straight from the cottage - no need for taxis or the car! And Brighton’s Royal Pavilion is a must see!! All in all, we found Brighton to be vibrant, fun and full of things to do and see, with Corner Cottage our perfect home for the weekend! We will definitely be returning!! :)

What a wonderful time we had at Corner Cottage in Brighton! The cottage was well equipped and located right in the heart of The Lanes. Be sure to book parking for the week as this makes the stay less stressful. It can be a challenge to drive to the cottage due to it’s central location so make sure you know directions prior to travelling. As a family with teenagers, we had plenty to do all week to keep us occupied with the beach and pier 5 minutes away and shopping on your doorstep. We also had many pleasant evenings enjoying family time at the various restaurants and pubs nearby. The Breakfast Club is opposite the cottage and a definite favourite with our kids. I would definitely recommend Corner Cottage as a wonderful place to stay in Brighton. Thanks Best of Brighton

Longmace house is a beautiful property which kept the old features and combined it with modern touches. It is bang in the middle of Arundel so was a great base to explore the town and its surrounding areas. The property was very spacious and well equipped, perfect for a family getaway or even a gathering with friends. We also luckily stayed during a weekend where the farmers market was held and it was a real treat. Although no allocated parking, I wouldn’t worry about it, plenty of car parks and on street parking, there is also free parking on mill road if you get lucky with a space. We had a restful and enjoyable stay, plenty of walks for the dog too. We highly recommend this place and Paul was very informative prior to our arrival which was a bonus.

We were very happy with the property and company. The reservation process and check-in was smooth and we didn't have any negative issues at all during our 2 week stay over the Christmas holidays. We were happy to arrive at a very clean, well maintained property. There were some Christmas decorations up including a tree; this was a very nice touch and really appreciated! There was even a bundle of firewood which we didn't get to use as it wasn't cold enough. The wifi worked properly, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. There were just 2 of us but it would be suitable for 4 people. Everything we needed was close-by with tons of shops and supermarkets a short walk away. We loved it, would stay again and give it a 95% satisfaction score!

Our stay at Corner Cottage couldn’t have been more perfect! The location is amazing, right in the heart of The Lanes so it was perfect for exploring, sightseeing and people watching and only a short 5 minute walk to the beach too- incredible!! The cottage itself was immaculate; spotlessly clean and contemporary. The main living area was fantastic, a great open space, loads of space for the 4 of us who stayed. The kitchen was fully equipped and thoughtful touches added throughout. The helpful guide left by the owners was brilliant, it gave us a really great starting point of what to see and do and helped us have an amazing trip! We will absolutely be staying here again when we revisit Brighton.
