We absolutely loved our stay here. We took our two small dogs with us. Owners were lovely and welcoming. It’s a beautiful conversion on their farm but it’s positioned in a way that’s still really secluded enough despite being on their land/home. Owners were kind enough to let us walk our dogs on their land through the sheep field and leading to a lovely pond (dogs of course to be kept on lead for obvious reasons!). And there’s a lovely field right next to the actual accommodation (no sheep!) to walk the dogs around too. Location was fab - close enough drive to whatever you might need yet still felt like we were totally secluded under the stars surrounded by fields! There is a fire pit outside and owners were kind enough to supply us with some wood and lovely outdoor cushioned seats, and we just grabbed some fire starters from the local petrol station down the road. Just as an fyi for those bringing dogs - there is a small stoney area by the side to let your dogs out freely for the toilet and you use a moveable metal gate to seclude them in but if you have small dogs I’d recommend making sure you still supervise as my dogs could squeeze through the railings! So although the property states enclosed garden, I wouldn’t necessarily call it fully enclosed, it’s more a small makeshift stoney area with a metal baby gate type thing as opposed to grass for them, but not a massive deal, just something worth knowing for dog owners, as an enclosed garden was the number one thing I was looking for when looking around for places due to having reactive dogs who sometimes can be picky toileting on anything that’s not grass!! Property inside was absolutely gorgeous, well looked after, cosy and warm, access to TV/Netflix etc, oven was a little slow so anticipate longer cooking times if you are planning on cooking! Owners left us tea, coffee, sugar, croissants and a bottle of wine! We are super super keen to return here very soon, we absolutely loved it. Thank you so much!

We have just returned from a week at Yew Tree Cottage.
We honestly cannot recommend this property and its location enough. An absolutely lovely cottage with amazing views across the Malvern Hills. A super area with lots to visit and wonderful scenery. The Cottage: absolutely perfect in every way ... immaculately clean in every room, very comfortable and warm, fabulous jacuzzi bath, jigsaws/books/board games, and a huge selection of DVD's. Wonderful, completely enclosed garden perfect for your dog and a bowl of Bonio biscuits - sadly we had just had to have our baby put to sleep before arriving but she would have loved it and it was the perfectly secure space for dogs, and their humans to enjoy. For the humans - a welcome selection of hot drink sachets, milk, bread, butter: thank you xxx. The Owners: so welcoming and approachable, but never encroached on our stay whatsoever; just knew they were available if we had a problem, which we didn't. I would have absolutely no hesitation at booking this wonderful holiday home again - only wish was that we had booked longer lol !!

Absolutely lovely cottage with views over countryside and the Malvern Hills.
Excellent non intrusive hosts who have gone the extra mile to provide a lovely comfortable environment for people to rest and relax. Fantastic welcome pack, Amazing beds, superb enclosed wrap around large private garden for people and dogs. To enjoy. We honestly cannot fault this cottage, it was one of the best and we have stayed in many over the past twenty years, We took 4 dogs with us, all dogs had ample space and comfort, the cottage was nice and warm and basically is a nice upmarket home from home. Nice and secure for dogs and we didnât have a problem opening and shutting the gate to the property in fact we found the extra layer of security most welcome. The owners do live on site in a separate gated area but they are discreet and respectful of privacy and certainly did not encroach in any way. Thank you, we will be back . Rosemary and Con x

We had a wonderful holiday.
Yew Tree Cottage is very well appointed, it had everything we needed including a washing machine/tumble dryer and dishwasher, which my husband was extremely grateful for! The self-contained garden is huge and Alfie and Megan (our dogs) loved it. The garden is safe and secure. The owners Stuart and Jess, are lovely, they do not intrude but are always willing to stop and talk and were keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The area is picturesque with lots of interesting towns and villages within a short drive. If you are a walker then the Malvern hills are ideal with lots of flatter walks around. Yew Tree Cottage is on the border of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, with cities like Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester within easy reach. We will definitely be returning.

I stayed for 4 weeks, on my own with two dogs.
I cannot fault the facilities but I constantly felt on edge. The sound insulation from next door is virtually non existent. I was tip toeing round. The accommodation is listed as pet friendly, but the layout didn't work for me. I hadn't realised the owners lived on site and had I known, for a 4 week stay, this was intrusive and not deliberate on the owners' part. Having to get my dogs in the car, open the main gate, shut it again behind me, became an inconvenience. Also sending texts to the owner and not having the courtesy of an acknowledgement, made me feel I had chosen the wrong place to stay. Lovely cottage but only condusive for a short stay.
