What our customers say about their holidays

    • Miss Jones - Verified booking

Wonderful Cottage/Chalet in an idyllic setting! The whole home was clean, modern and has everything you need to facilitate your stay next to the water. Everyone enjoyed tucking in to our welcome hamper, and the decoration and thoughtful touches around the place made it feel really homely for us (we stayed over Christmas). I think our dog had the best time of all, running free on the beach and exploring! Memorable moments for us included, bird watching, train spotting and listening to the crackle of the wood fire and the waves crashing on the beach of an evening. Thank you! We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway next to the sea with all the comforts of home.

There is a problem with shower as pressure VERY LOW and settings where either boiling hot or ice cold this was nentioned by previous people staying there in these book but hasnt been addressed.

Leak at bottom of toilet had to use a towel to prevent slipping on it in the bathroom.Microwave needs putting up so people can find it and not hidden away next to sofa on floor,i think this needs repositioning due to fact my partner was diabled and was a problem. In the pictures it doesn't show u that you practically next to a barn which on other side is the landlord's dwelling not very pleasant as thought it was a distant away atleast and next 5o that is there work sheds besides that is was pleasant and relaxing to an extent.

We had a wonderful two weeks at the cottage, watching the tides come in and the birds feeding on the shore. We walked into the village most mornings for coffee or breakfast and had some fabulous meals at the Sticks. We also managed to get up to the castle and have fish and chips on the beach. Our dog loved the beach and his long walks along the sands. Carnarvon is close enough to be useful for larger shopping trips. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked another visit in the summer!

Enjoyed our 2nd stay at Mountain View Lodge.

Lovely property, very clean & comfortable. Owners (including Baxter the dog!) very welcoming & quick to respond to queries. Treated to welsh cakes, milk & fresh eggs on arrival. Lots of thoughtful touches such as providing dog bowls & blanket. Well kept enclosed garden perfect for our dog to play in. Stunning views and great walks on the doorstep as well as many amazing places to visit within a reasonable drive. Hot tub was lovely to relax in after days out.
