Brilliant stay in the Ingleborough lodge.

Comfortable, clean, quiet and very well maintained inside and outside. It’s also very walkable to both charburn (shops and pub) and Downham (pub) for food and drinks. We would also highly recommend the cafe on the site, ran separately which is open 9-3pm and does a fabulous breakfast and lunch offering. One thing to note, which is a positive for me is the hot tub isn’t a chemical / jet version is essentially an outdoor bath which you fill when you need and is nice and quiet. The hosts are fantastic and can’t do enough. If they aren’t on site you have their number should you have an issues. We would highly reccomend this gem of a stay

Gorgeous glamping pod very comfortable and to a very high standard.

spotless inside but a dirty cloth left outside the door with a wet toilet roll on the chair. Obviously left behind by who ever had cleaned it. Not expecting the 'hottub' to be empty on arrival and it was more a hot bath disguised as a hot tub as it was filled then no way of keeping it hot. No lights outside the hot tub so was pitch black which Obviously isnt safe. We were provided with torches when we mentioned this to the owner but felt his attitude was rude as apparently no one else has made this complaint before and it basically said what else do you want me to do??? The next pod had outside lighting though!

As a family this was our 2nd stay we loved the lodge can't fault the scenery, and the layout, plus comfort of the beds.

However this time round we found was lacking on the cleanliness. Leftover mess under the sofa (understand somethings are missed), unstable dining chairs which had to be unused. Broken wireless headphone in oven which caused massive concern as oven was used that could have been a fire waiting to happen, luckily spotted before use, cob webs everywhere inside. I understand that it could be from previous people who stayed who miss treated the property but I imagined cleaners or the owner should have spotted these issues and rectified before another stay. But overall we still managed to have a great stay.

Overall we had a great stay pods are lovely and you couldn't really want for anything else.

There was an issue with the internet so I had to connect the TV to my phone for the whole stay, Hot tub is just filled by a hot tap which takes a while. The tearoom and BandB has also been taken over by another family so the prices we had seen advertised for breakfast and how it works were incorrect. This is fairly new so hope the website will be updated very soon. This said I would still definitely stay again as we really enjoyed staying and there are lovely local walks

Had a fantastic stay the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed plenty of storage in the bedrooms for clothing.

The lodge was nicely decorated modern and spotlessly clean. We were lucky enough to have nice weather to sit out on the decking and enjoy the views. When we arrived we struggled to find the lodge so I would recommend more info on location for anyone visiting for the first time. We made some great family memories and would love to come back again thank you
