What an amazing week spent in Cedar Tree, it most certainly worth the wait. Superb accommodation . The views out of this world of the countryside and all that goes with it...ie the tractors, horses, dogs, cat birds, squirrel, pair of grouses, kites, old planes, hot air balloon, and the sunset views. ..what isn't there to like!!! Plenty of places to visit Kingsclere, Sydmonton, Asley Warren, Whitchurch. Bourne Valley Inn perfect lunch (Beekeeper situation opposite). Watership Down Inn, most definately have to book table as you wont get in otherwise, and the car park gets very full and it isn't easy to park. Whitehill my favourite place :-). Thank you Jenny very much for my lovely retreat holiday .......... its been PERFECT

The Cedar Tree is a little spot of perfection in a beautiful location. The hut itself was stunning and super cosy inside, it is extremely well equipped for a totally relaxing stay, just gorgeous. Jenny was the perfect host she went above and beyond with her kindness, on arrival we were greeted with a delicious hamper which was filled with homemade lemon drizzle cake, jam, fresh bread, eggs, butter, wine and you are invited to help yourself to the delicious raw milk as produced on the farm. If your thinking of booking a shepherds hut, please don't let this one pass you by, you won't be disappointed, it's a little gem!

Beautiful location - in the countryside, privately away from the house. Plenty of walks and nature reserves in the area, however, it is also only a short drive from nearby towns and the wonderful Gin Distillery! The accommodation provided everything needed - a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and a modern kitchen with plenty of pots and pans. The pool was much larger than expected too which was a great surprise. However, the best part of the holiday were the hosts. They were incredibly friendly and attentive - nothing was too much! Really special week away for our 4 year anniversary :)

Great little hut with everything you need for a lovely weekend. Well heated and comfy bed. We found there was a lack of instructions on getting into the town when walking. There is a trail we found but only safe during daylight hours. Other than this you have to drive into town and all places, which is ok however would have been nice if stated on the page. The hut is also located directly next to the owners house. We assumed there would be privacy when walking out of the hut form the pictures but you are walking into their lane way. The owners are lovely and the welcome basket was nice.

The Sherphard's Hut was spotless. Reassuring at this time with what is going on. The welcome hamper was so generous and thoughtful. We were celebrating our Ruby WA and Jennifer even decorated the hut with balloons. It was such a lovely thought. The hut had everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed it there. Had a couple of excellent meals out too. The Star Inn is highly recommended. We loved staying here. Modern twist but still very cosy. Would we stay again? YES! Thank you.
