What our customers say about their holidays

    • Anthony - Verified booking

We had an amazing relaxing time lounging in luxury and wandering around the stunningly beautiful and peaceful nature reserve.

We felt so lucky to be allowed into this unique haven of beauty and tranquility with deer, foxes, birds of prey and much much more. There was so much to see and do in the area as well with day trips to Knightshayes and Arlington Court National trust properties, Exmoor Zoo, Heddons Mouth beach, Lynmouth, Doone Valley and stunning sunsets at the Valley of Rocks. The holiday property was amazing and modern and really really comfortable. A couple of finishing touches for us would have been a bigger built in fridge and a mirror in the main bedroom near a plug socket. But there really is nothing major to complain about. We loved the whole package deal so much, we can’t wait to return. Also a big thank you to Colin and Mae for being great hosts. ☀️

We had a lovely stay at this unique eco holiday place.

Staying in a piece of wilderness able to spot the resident wildlife is an absolute treat. We spotted several deer, a majestic heron and the owl. If the weather had been better we may have seen more. The bird feeding station outside on the patio area gives you a grandstand view of nut hatch, great spotted woodpecker, gold finches, tits, wren.....plus all the others we missed. Tara the dog much appreciated the field opposite which is the off lead running area. We are already thinking about when we can come again. Thank you to Colin and Mae for sharing their piece of paradise with us. Although it is out in the sticks ( which is our preference) it is still close enough to South moulton and access to many dog friendly pubs.
