    Within Belfast's Botanic Gardens is the Ulster Museum, a treasure trove of Northern Irish history, art and science. Admission is free and there's also a cafe within the gardens. Dogs must be kept leashed within the Botanic Gardens.

    Ulster Folk and Transport Museum

    Telling the story of life in the early 20th century, the museum is a well preserved step back in time set in 170 acres of land. Traditional crafts are on display and farm animals help paint the picture of life here. There's a picnic area and cafe and dogs are accepted upon arrangement– call in advance.

    Step back in time and experience the journey of Irish emigrants to America at the Ulster American Folk Park. Explore original thatched cottages, log cabins, and homesteads.
