**Review of Our Stay at Heritage Retreat: 10/10!

** Our holiday was a perfect 10/10! **Location (10/10)** The retreat boasts stunning coastal views and a tranquil atmosphere, making it a great escape. It’s also conveniently near charming towns and Cardiff City **Accommodations (10/10)** Our rental was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with a cozy living area featuring a fireplace and comfortable bedrooms for relaxation and amenities for our dog also. Everything was exceptional quality! And we loved that it had its own hot tub also! A short walk away is the most wonderful oldie worldly pub The Plough and Harrow and there’s also walks along the Glamorgan Heritage coastline on the doorstep **Amenities (10/10)** The kitchen was fully equipped for holiday and extra logs for the wood burning stove available onsite. **Cleanliness (10/10)** The property was spotless upon arrival, showing the hosts' dedication to cleanliness and detail. **Customer Service (10/10)** The hosts were welcoming and responsive and a thoughtful welcome basket filled with treats and a milk was kindly left for us in the fridge. Nothing was too much trouble for Glyn and Phillipa they were gems! **Overall Experience (10/10)** Our time at Heritage Retreat was magical, combining beautiful views, festive decor, and excellent accommodations, making this holiday unforgettable. **Final Thoughts:** For a memorable Christmas getaway by the sea, Heritage Retreat is a true gem. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely week with our family in this beautiful lodge.

The accommodation is beautiful, and spotlessly clean, it feels nice and luxurious. We enjoyed BBQ’s outside and took in the view of the sunset and sea. Phillipa and Glynn really care about their guests often offering us recommendations for trips out, we had some great days out enjoying the beautiful beaches and local museum. Our children had so much fun. We were blessed with some good weather but it would be equally cosy in the winter with the log burner, on-site cafe and lovely pub 5 minutes away.

Heritage Retreat is a Scandinavian inspired lodge with all mod cons and home comforts.

The owners (Philippa and Glyn) have thought about everything you would need, including towels for the newly installed hot tub! The lodge is kept to a very high standard and is spotless throughout. It is situated close to the coast which offers sea views on a clear day and the beach is walkable in about 15 minutes via a conservation area. This is our second visit and a third is planned. If you fancy luxury accommodation, peace and to be close to a stunning coastline, this is the place to visit!

We had a lovely short stay.

So pleased to see Phillipa's friendly face welcoming us on the dark wet wintery night when we arrived, as I was trying to find the key code. She couldn't do any more to make our stay comfortable. The accomadation is so clean and modern, Bed and bedding were very high quality and comfy. Loved the woodburner and hot tub. Wonderful local pub a walk away, dog friendly too. No complaints at all and we will be back for sure.
