Guests say

Guests have found the cottage to be a comfortable and well-equipped base for exploring the beautiful surroundings of County Mayo. The property boasts stunning views and is praised for its cleanliness and inviting atmosphere. While some minor maintenance issues and a lack of Wi-Fi were noted, the overall experience was positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The property is generally described as spotless, with clean bed linen and towels. However, some guests noted areas that could be cleaner, such as windows and walls, which slightly affected the overall impression.

The location is highly praised for its breathtaking views and proximity to local amenities and attractions. It serves as an excellent base for exploring the region, with easy access to beaches and the Greenway.

The majority of guests found the property very comfortable, with comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. One guest mentioned the duvet being too heavy, but this seems to be a personal preference rather than a common issue.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and sufficient bathrooms. However, some guests reported non-working items such as table lights, a video player remote, and a dryer, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches left by the host for the guests, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The views from the living area upstairs were stunning. Definitely would book again.

12, the view was to die for, a wonderful situation. There was everything there we needed, and it was extremely comfortable. The tv reception was a bit hit and miss but not that important. Lots of little extras being left was very helpful. Being next to the hotel was great too. We were pretty fortunate with the weather and we had some excellent meals at Dohertys. We did find the duvet rather too heavy and were too warm, but that’s just a personal thing! Thanks!
