Visitors will find any amenities they require in the neighbouring market town of Alfreton, while just a short drive away is the village of Crich, home to the National Tramway Museum, where you can journey back in time with a ride on their world-renowned vintage trams, showcasing spectacular countryside views and informative exhibitions, ideal for all ages. Just a little further afield is the delightful town of Matlock, which is nestled in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent; over the years it has become a tourist favourite with its excellent selection of restaurants, traditional pubs and links to the attractions of Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum.
