Nestled at the heart of the upmarket village of Duffield, surrounded by the breath-taking Derbyshire countryside and a diversity of things to do, this cottage is ideal for an adventure filled family holiday. Upon entering the property, be welcomed by the wonderful original features that have been sympathetically restored to reflect the character of the property, with the clever blend of quality furniture and fixings. Covering all the necessities for a week long break is the brightly-decorated kitchen, where you will be delighted to prepare all of your meals before gathering the family to dine within the quaint dining area. After a busy day exploring the surroundings, you can look forward to snuggling up with your loved ones in front of a roaring woodburning fire, whilst catching up on your favourite TV shows within the sitting room. If you are looking to escape the bustle and bustle of the group, retreat to the library room, where you can get lost within the world of a book, ensuring complete tranquillity. As the evening draws to a close, follow the staircase to the three well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a super-king-size bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, where you can drift off to the night’s welcoming embrace. A short stroll will bring you to the local shop, pet-friendly coffee shops and pubs and a well-regarded gastropub, if you fancy a special treat one evening. Brush up on the local history, by spending an afternoon visiting the remains of Duffield Castle or the 18th century Kedleston Hall, with an outdoor cinema during the warmer months.     Only drawbacks (limited parking, only loo upstairs and on a busy road) were well flagged in advance so no shocks/issue. Overall very relaxing stay and would recommend.
