We were made to feel very welcome even before the holiday when we spoke to Karl on the phone. Karl was there to meet us with a handshake on arrival and showed us around, we felt very looked after and he even had a complimentary chilled bottle of bubbly waiting for us. The cottage is a lovely base from which to explore the area, then return to a great hot tub and BBQ. The bed is comfortable and there is a lot of attention to detail throughout the cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I'm sure we'll be back!

It felt a little awkward sitting in the hot tub with the owners home overlooking, visitors to the owner also pulled up right next to where we were sat in the hot tub. The French doors at the back of the den need some privacy blinds. Leaky shower and the sofa in living room was very uncomfortable. We had till 10am to vacate the den but the owner was in the back yard from 7am cleaning the hot tub. Lovely place and lovely host. Just not for us unfortunately.
