Settled on Jockhedge holiday site, on 25-acres of greenery, is this charming 19th-century cottage, The Pine. This single-storey cottage lies in the town of Burgh Le Marsh, an excellent position for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds and the vibrant coast of Skegness, so bring along your family and friends. On arrival, be greeted by off-road parking before stepping inside to discover the living/dining room, where a plush sofa tempts you to unwind with a cup of tea in front of the TV with Freeview. Tuck-into heart-warming meals at the dining table, which can be prepared in the well-appointed, sage kitchen, with an electric oven and hob to assist you. Throw open the patio doors to explore the lawned garden, fully enclosed so your pet can stretch their legs as the adults savour a glass of wine on the furniture. As day draws to night, retire inside and why not treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in the bathroom, where a freestanding tub awaits. When eyes grow heavy, choose between a king-size with its own en-suite, a king-size with a TV and a twin bedroom with a TV, all with lamps for a spot of bedtime reading. Awaken with a steaming cup of coffee in the shared courtyard to meet others alike; afterwards prepare for the day ahead in your bedroom at the full-length mirror. If you fancy a break from the kitchen, take short stroll into the centre of the town for a cluster of pubs serving home-cooked meals and a refreshing pint or pop into the butchers to conjure your own feast. Jump in the car to visit the seaside resort of Skegness, where you can have a scream on roller coasters at Skegness Pleasure Beach, stroll along the sandy beach with an ice cream or marvel at sea creatures at the Aquarium. Explore the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds, home to sleepy villages for a rustic pub, the Museum of Lincolnshire Life and a plethora of walking trails. For an escape like no other, choose The Pine.
Four miles separate Burgh le Marsh, a charming beach village, from Skegness, a bustling seaport. A butcher's shop, a baker's shop, and a store are all available in Burgh le Marsh. Perched on a hilltop are a stunning old windmill and an ancient church. Some of the historic buildings have been converted into teahouses and restaurants. To go to Louth, Lincoln, and the seaside, it has an excellent road network.

Staff friendly and helpful. On the Sykes site there was no mention of highchairs being available to book (free of charge) but the handbook in the cottage referred to them and within half an hour of our arrival one was delivered to us! Brilliant! Nice village and only 15minutes from Skegness.
