Relax here with a book from one of the shelves before putting on the radio and making a start on the evening meal; the kitchen is home to all the essentials you need, with a compact oven and two-ring hob, a microwave, a fridge and even a small dishwasher at your fingertips. Resting in the county of Buckinghamshire and just less than 5 miles from Milton Keynes is the charming town of Stony Stratford. Historically a market town on the route from London to Chester, it now presents a tranquil base for exploring the likes of Milton Keynes, the Chiltern Hills aonb, Northampton and the wonderful Buckinghamshire countryside. The lovely Ouse Valley Park is just a stone's throw away, as well as the Milton Keynes Museum, Iron Trunk Aqueduct Heritage Walk and the National Trust's Stowe garden.
