The lodge was spacious, well appointed and private. It was set in a really peaceful location and is a special place. The only issue is that walking around the lake was spoilt by dog owners who had not cleared up dog mess.It would be good to have a dedicated bin for this and a request included in the information pack that dog owners take responsibility for clearing up after their pets.

Excellent accomodation and facilities with a terrific welcome basket on arrival. The estate was lovely and it was so nice not have traffic thundering by when we walked the dog. The only negative thing was the very narrow pavement to the local shop and pub - but that's down to Essex highways!
