What our customers say about their holidays

    • Katie - Verified booking

Absolutely perfect setting amongst the vines and a stunning farmhouse.

Such a nice place to stay with friends. It is very spacious, well maintained and has a lovely grand but cosy feel. There are a couple of niggles. Don’t want to moan but quite useful for the owners to know how to improve. The wifi is very bad. It doesn’t work in wvery room and most of us couldn’t use it. I know it’s nice to be a le to switch your phones off but we brought speakers that connect to wifi so that was a real pain. The dining room light flickers so you can’t have it on. It’s quite a dark room anyway so you can’t eat in there in the evening unless you want to eat in the dark. The kitchen is stocked in quite an odd way. 12 egg cups but then no sharp knives. It has a weird mix of things and not enough of what you need e.g. good knives and pans. Not sure if it’s possible but it would be lovely if some of the plants were trimmed bacl that block the pond. When sitting outside it would be lovely to be able to look at the pond but you can’t see it. The TV doesn’t work, it might be because of the wifi issue but we couldn’t get freeview to work which was a shame. The place really is lovely but if those things were fixed it would be perfect!

We were a family party of eleven covering 3 generations and booked Tuffon Hall for us all to celebrate Christmas together.

Based on the photos of the property it looked very spacious and this did not disappoint at all. The whole house is amazing with ample space for our celebrations and at the same time you can also find a quiet corner to read or just chill out. The dining room is stunning, took our breath away and makes you feel like you are in a Manor House! The house was also beautifully decorated for Christmas and the welcome pack was very generous - many thanks. We loved that although the vineyard was closed whilst we were there, there was a selection of wines and gins in the house which you could purchase should you so wish. Tuffon Hall is in a lovely and relaxing setting with plenty of space inside and out plus ample parking too. We would highly recommend this holiday accommodation, do not hesitate to book it. We all had the most amazing time making more special memories for us to cherish! Thank you so much to Liz and her team.

Lovely summer getaway with the whole family.

This place exceeded our expectations. The house boasts bags of character and is big enough to cater for a large group, and has good facilities. Everything was nice and clean, and seemed like it was well looked after. The outside space is amazing, with alot of greenery surrounding the house. The enclosed pond is the highlight of the property with ducks and fishes in it. However there are some things that need improvement, the living room sofa, the chairs in the dining room, and the mattresses need to be replaced, so that they can provide a more comfortable stay. The outside area has no lights at all after it gets dark, some lights would make it better. We would definitely recommend this property :)

We had a great stay at The Granary.

We are originally from the area, so were staying to visit family and friends locally. The accommodation was wonderful, with everything we required for a comfortable stay. The grounds were stunning, and there were plenty of options for walking our little dog right from the doorstep. Alice, the owner, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The games room was a great feature, and we enjoyed playing pool and table tennis during our stay. We were a little early for the pool to be open - but hopefully next time! We will definitely be back when we are next visiting Suffolk. All in all a fabulous location, great cottage and host, excellent facilities and would highly recommend.

We have just returned from Tuffon Hall after the most wonderful weekend .

We were a group of 9 ladies with lots to celebrate and Tuffon Hall was just the perfect setting. We were even greeted by a beautiful welcome gift on our arrival of wine and treats which was really unexpected. The house is stunning, the beds were super comfy, the duvets and pillows were fluffy and the whole house is super clean and wonderfully cosy. We enjoyed parties in the kitchen, cosy afternoons by the log fire and fabulous walks. They have literally thought of everything, the house is so well equipped even down to spare wellies. Only tiny issue was we ran out of toilet tissue but with 9 women under one roof could there ever be enough?
